Korean actor Kang Ji-hwan is in Hong Kong and Singapore to promote his film "My Girlfriend Is An Agent", according to his agency.
The Hallyu star is currently on a promotional tour in Asia for the movie, which opened in Vietnam on Friday and is set to open in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Thailand as well, Jambo Entertainment said in a press release on Saturday.
The actor, who flew into Hong Kong on Sunday, is scheduled to give interviews and other promotional activities including a meeting with the fans at the stage greeting on Tuesday. Kang will then visit Singapore on Wednesday.
"I'm very excited about the film opening in Hong Kong and Singapore and hope it's a commercial success," the 32-year-old actor was quoted as saying. "At the same time, I'm glad that this will be an opportunity to meet our Asian fans through my work. I feel proud because it feels like I've been given a chance to take a step forward in the Asian market."
Kang, who debuted in 2001 in the Korean version of the musical "The Rocky Horror Show", has appeared in numerous TV dramas and films including the 2003 TV series "Summer Scent" and popular sitcom "Nonstop 4".
