English indie band The Cribs and Swedish songwriter Lasse Lindh are set to visit Korea for a music festival next month, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The European musicians will perform at the "Grand Mint Festival 2009 (GMF2009)" held on October 24 and 25, GMF2009 officials said.

The Cribs are composed of three brothers of the Jarman family and have been nominated for several New Musical Express (NME) Awards, a prestigious music award in England.

In particular, former member of The Smiths Johnny Marr contributed to the group's fourth album "Ignore The Ignorant", which debuted at eighth on the U.K. albums chart. Johnny Marr is a legendary rocker and guitarist who has influenced numerous modern rock bands including Oasis and Radiohead.

Swedish singer and songwriter Lindh is also included in the line-up. He gained popularity in Korea with the song "C'mon Through" which was the soundtrack for Korean drama "Soulmate".
