[INTERVIEW] Teen Top - Part 2

10: Who is the best dressed member?
Teen Top: C.A.P!
L.Joe: And (covers Ricky) he’s the worst dressed.
Ricky: Me? I don’t think so.
Niel: Ricky dresses pretty well…
Changjo: It’s quite refreshing…
Niel: He’s kind of a fashion terrorist…(laugh)
Ricky: No! I just didn’t have anything to wear that day. That’s why I wore some flashy clothes but the reactions I got weren’t that great.
Chunji: It was this green colored t-shirt with these black holes. It seemed as though you would get sucked into the hole if you looked at it and it made you quite dizzy.
L.Joe: And he wore these fluorescent military pants.
Ricky: That is why I don’t wear that outfit anymore.

10: Do any of you have a hobby of collecting things?
Niel: L.Joe collects comic books.
L.Joe: Be quiet! Why did you say that! (laugh) I didn’t want to tell anyone…

10: Why didn’t you want to reveal that?
L.Joe: Uhm, it’s because comic books doesn’t match my chic image…
Chunji: L.Joe puts a lot of thought into the chic image. He even tries to look cool when we walk by our fans…
L.Joe: (acts chic) I can’t help it if my expression looks cool.
Teen Top: Ah~!
Niel: It’s because L.Joe is the king. You can always find L.Joe standing in front of the mirror in our rehearsal room. He doesn’t even rest while everyone is resting and instead he’ll be listening to music and looking at himself in front of the mirror. He’s so absorbed in himself.

10: So L.Joe, what kind of comic books do you collect? (laugh)
L.Joe: I collect “One Piece,” “Naruto” and “Bleach.” (Ah whatever.) I also collect “Black Rubber Shoes” and I have the whole collection for “Dragon Ball.” That is all I will reveal.

10: Can you tell us an incident involving when you met your fans face-to-face?
Chunji: A lot of interesting fans come whenever we have autograph sessions. If I have to talk about one thing…there was this fan dressed in hanbok (Korean traditional costume) who brought a table full of food that bowed in front of me. She said she was my wife. (laugh)
L.Joe: She also asked all of us to sign a marriage certificate and I felt uneasy doing it. (laugh)
Niel: Do you think that means you are actually married now?
Ricky: Well, we actually signed it. It was quite scary.
Chunji: So how many wives do we have? We’re in trouble now.

10: Niel, your birthday [August 16] is coming up. Is there a special present or event that you want from the other members?
Chunji: His birthday punch? (laugh)
Teen Top: We can do that! (laugh)
Niel: They punched me last year. I can still remember how the members started pinching and punching me right when it turned 12 o’clock. I just wish that they don’t hit me this year.
Chunji: Ah, is that what you want for your birthday? You don’t want anything else?
Niel: No! I feel that C.A.P owes me many things. It would be great to receive clothes.
C.A.P: What, why?
Niel: It’s because I don’t have much clothes. C.A.P takes all my clothes even though he has so much.
C.A.P: We actually take clothes from one another. It doesn’t matter who takes what from whom but how much they take. (laugh)
Niel: And I want Ricky to buy me a cake. Make it an ice cream cake and Changjo should buy dessert.
Changjo: Isn’t ice cream a dessert?
Niel: No. You have to buy fruits like watermelon, melons, oranges, strawberries and grapes. And all I want from L.Joe is to just wish me a happy birthday. I don’t have much expectations from him. (laugh) Uhm…I would also like Chunji to do the same. It’s because the other member’s birthdays are coming up.

10: When does it get the loudest at your dorms?
Niel: Mostly when we fool around. We like to spar and wrestle with each other. Oh! And when C.A.P takes a shower. It’s because he showers with the door open and he yells real loud when we throw buckets of water at him. He tells us not to do it with a sad expression on his face. (laugh)
C.A.P: I don’t like cold water in particular.
Chunji: That’s when we have the most fun. We enjoy bothering C.A.P.
Niel: And when we have pillow fights, Changjo is fighting with himself.
Chunji: He also talks to himself.
Niel: He sometimes loses to the pillow.
Changjo: …

10: You mentioned that you want to take first place on a music program. What will do once that happens?
Ricky: We can eat meat every day. I asked our agency what we can do to eat meat every day. They said that we can eat it every day if we become No. 1. (laugh)
Chunji: We can replace rice with meat!
Changjo: You’re only supposed to eat meat when you do but we always eat rice.
Ricky: I want to go to a swimming pool since it’s summer vacation right now. I want to go swimming and then eat meat at our vacation house.
Niel: And then go to the beach the next day and then eat meat again. I also want to ride bikes and then eat meat once more.

10: Who will grill the meat?
Niel: C.A.P is the one who usually does it. We went to go eat meat a few days ago and it felt like I was in a battlefield. I couldn’t enjoy the taste of the Korean beef since C.A.P kept overcooking it and the place was filled with smoke.
C.A.P: Ha…I’m feeling a bit bittersweet. (laugh)

10: So this is what you get for grilling the meat...
C.A.P: But they always listen to what I say.
Niel: It’s just that it goes into one ear and comes out the other! (laugh) But C.A.P can be scary when he gets angry.
Chunji: He takes control of us by using his low-pitched voice whenever we practice.
Niel: (imitates C.A.P’s voice) Hey, do it right. Why aren’t you doing it right? That’s where you’re wrong.

10: It seems that all of you have a side to you that is different from how you look on the outside. Just like how Chunji seems to have a tough personality with his pretty boy looks and L.Joe’s secret [collecting comics] was revealed though he tries to be chic.
Chunji: C.A.P is a lot cuter than he looks. He acts very coquettish.
C.A.P: But the other members ignore me when I act cute.
Chunji: It’s because sometimes you overdo it.
L.Joe: As you can see Niel talks a lot and he talks even more on an everyday basis. That’s why it’s a problem. It gets tiring.
Niel: (laugh) I’m the energizer of the group.
Teen Top: But you’re so loud!
Chunji: That’s why I sometimes tell him to be quiet or to shut up. (laugh)
Niel: Ah, no. It gets really noisy when Ricky, Chunji and I get together. We hold our own concert in our car when we are traveling back and forth to the regional areas of Seoul.
Ricky: We scream along to other singers’ songs.
Niel: Changjo acts as the radio DJ since he sits up front.
C.A.P: That is why I put on my earphones to listen to music.
Chunji: And sometimes, C.A.P joins in. He sings in a high-pitched voice.

10: Don’t you think your manager has a hard time listening to you guys sing like that?
Niel: No. We sing that way so he can stay awake because we think he might get sleepy. (laugh)
Chunji: That is the reason why we sing!
