KBS radio program wins silver award at NYF
A KBS radio program has won the silver award at the New York Festivals' (NYF) International Radio Awards, according to the official website of the fest on Tuesday.
The webpage revealed that "Korea, China, Japan - A Story of Three Nations," produced by Cho Hu-jung, scored the silver award under the category of history amongst 16 other international entries at this year's fest held in New York City on June 20.
"Korea, China, Japan - A Story of Three Nations," which aired in August of last year in two parts, tells the historical, political, cultural and economical relationship between Korea, China and Japan during the past century. It reflects on the past while looking at what the future holds for these three countries.
Into its 54th year, the New York Festivals honors the best in international radio programs and promotions, TV programs and films as well as advertising.
The radio program portion of the fest receives entries from radio stations, networks and independent producers from over 30 countries which is judged by top-level industry professionals from over 25 countries in five continents.
