SHINee M/V for Japan debut single to be unveiled tomorrow
Boy band SHINee’s music video for their first Japanese single will be revealed tomorrow, announced their agency SM Entertainment on Thursday.
According to a press release by SM, SHINee’s music video for their upcoming Japan debut single “Replay” will be uploaded onto EMI Music Japan’s official YouTube Channel with Yoona from the Girls’ Generation appearing as a special guest in it.
The group had unveiled a teaser clip on the same channel earlier last week, which was then ranked first place on Japanese YouTube channel’s music section and second place on the music section for the worldwide YouTube channel.
“Replay” will hit stores on June 22, while the ringtone versions of their songs “Replay” and “Hello” have already topped the daily chart of Japan's biggest mobile website RecoChoku upon their releases in late April and mid-May, respectively.
They are also set to perform at Abbey Road Studios in London, England on June 19 and follow it up with a nationwide fan meeting tour in Japan titled "SHINee JAPAN DEBUT PREMIUM RECEPTION" in July with shows in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo.
Composed of members Key, Minho, Jonghyun, Onew and Taemin, SHINee is one of Korea's most popular male groups who made their debut in 2008 under major talenthouse SM Entertainment. They have produced a number of hit songs including "Reply," "Ring Ding Dong" and "LUCIFER."
