Movie poster for war flick "Frontline" [Showbox]

The official poster and release date for upcoming war flick starring Korean actors Ko Soo and Shin Ha-kyun has been revealed, according to the movie producer's Showbox on Monday.

The poster for new film "Frontline," helmed by director Jang Hoon whose works include "Secret Reunion" and written by scenarist Park Sang-yeon, has been revealed, while the movie is set to be released during the summer of 2011.

"Frontline" tells of the war during 1953 in which South Korean soldiers (played by Ko Soo and Shin Ha-kyun) are captured by the North as prisoners of war while they plot against their enemies to escape.

Ko Soo appeared in the music video "Letter" by singer Position in 1998 and has since starred in numerous dramas and films. His move notable appearances are in drama "Piano" and "Will it Snow for Christmas?" and movies "Some" and "White Night."

His latest work was action thriller "Haunters" in which he starred alongside actor Gang Dong-won.

Shin first trained as a stage actor at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and made his debut in 1999 with a role in the film "The Happenings." He has since starred in a score of movies and dramas such as "Joint Security Area (2000)," "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002)" and "Thirst (2008)."
