J-pop’s Yamapi to make first appearance on Korean TV today
Top Japanese idol singer and actor Yamashita Tomohisa, or “Yamapi” will appear on a Korean television show for the first time, informed Mnet media on Thursday.
According to Mnet’s press release today, Yamapi will perform his electronic dance number “PARTY DON’T STOP” on Mnet’s major music show “M! CountDown” which will go on air live later this evening.
The stage production team of "M! CountDown" will design the stage in club party style in line with the theme of Yamapi's song, the statement said.
Meanwhile, Yamapi is set to release his first regular album in Korea “SUPERGOOD, SUPERBAD” that includes song ”PARTY DON'T STOP" on March 2 as well as hold his first concert in the country set for April 16 and 17.
Yamapi, 25, has appeared in numerous TV series and movies since making an acting debut ten years ago including dramas "Code Blue 2," and "Buzzer Beat" and a film "Ashita no Joe," (2011).
