Singer and actor Eric, formerly of boy band Shinhwa, is set to hold his first fan meeting in two years over the weekend, according to his agency Top Class Entertainment on Tuesday.
Top Class confirmed through a press release today that Eric will hold a fan meeting titled “HELLO AGAIN” at the main auditorium of Yonsei University on February 20.
The statement added that Eric has prepared special presents for the participants as well as other colorful events including talking about his upcoming TV series “Poseidon” which will be Korea’s first drama on coast guards.
Eric, whose real name is Mun Chong-hyok, made his debut through Shinhwa in 1998 which had been one of the most popular groups in the country and throughout Asia.
The 31-year-old rapper was discharged from the military on October 30 where about 400 fans from several countries including Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Canada showed up to congratulate the return of the pop star.
He will go on tour in Asia, starting in Taiwan, after next week's fan meeting.
