Sting says excited about Korea show

Rock legend Sting has said he is excited about returning to Korea after six years, the first stop on the Asia leg of his world tour.
Sting made the remark on Monday during a press conference at the Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul for the "Hyundai Super Concert XIII-Sting" as he spoke to reporters on how he felt about his latest visit to Korea.
"First off I want to apologize it being a while since I performed in Korea...... I have held a total of 80 shows all over the United States and Europe and I am excited, as well as having high expectations about my Asia tour which kicks off in Korea," Sting said.
He then explained, "For the show, I will be joined on stage by the Korean Symphony Orchestra which I feel that the audience will enjoy. Everything for the concert will be perfect after we rehearse this afternoon and tomorrow since the level of musicians in Korea is extremely high."
Sting will be the first artist to kick off the series of Hyundai Card Super Concerts this year as well as it being the first stop of his "Symphonicity" tour, where he performs with an orchestra to create symphonic arrangements of his biggest hit songs.
Born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, Sting has led a successful 33-year singing career. Before starting a solo career, he was the principal songwriter, lead singer and bassist of the rock band The Police.
Sting, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, is known for his hit songs including "Every Breath You Take," "Roxanne," "Shape of My Heart" and "Englishman in New York" as well as receiving 16 Grammy Awards for his work and an Oscar nomination for best song.

He will continue with the Asia leg of his "Symphoncity" tour into Japan on January 13 and then visit Australia.
