SHINee in Taiwan for promotional tour
Korean boy band SHINee kicked off their promotional tour in Taiwan starting yesterday, according to the group's agency SM Entertainment on Friday.
SM said through a press release that the five-member group, who flew into Taiwan yesterday to promote their second album “Hello,” was greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport as well as numerous Taiwanese and Chinese media outlets including GTV, China Post, The China Times, The Liberty Times and Baidu.
The same day, SHINee appeared as a guest on Taiwan’s most popular variety program GTV’s “100% Entertainment” to sing “Replay” and “Hello.” The group also taught few simple Korean phrases to viewers such as “My goddess” and “Too difficult" and gave tips on how to follow their dance steps for their hit song “Lucifer.”
Another variety show that SHINee appeared in later that day was CTS channel’s “Super King” hosted by Jiro Wang, a member of Taiwan’s well-known boy band “Fahrenheit” and actor Huang Deong-hui. The boys engaged in talks, games and quizzes.
Separately, a "SHINee Subway Train," decorated with SHINee posters, have been running across the city of Taipei since the beginning of this month. The train will operate until November 21.
SHINee, who will stay in Taiwan for five days till November 8, will also hold press conferences, fan meetings and appear on TV and radio programs including Channel V, Next TV, HITFM. This is the group's third visit to Taiwan.

SHINee composed of members Key, Jonghyun, Minho, Taemin and Onew debuted in 2008. Their hit songs include “Replay,” “Ring Ding Dong” and “LUCIFER.” Most recently they also took part in the making the title song for TV drama “Haru” which will be released next week.
