Teaser photo of SHINee member Key unveiled

A teaser photo of Key, a member of popular boy band SHINee, has been unveiled today as part of promoting the group's upcoming album release.

Agency SM Entertainment revealed a photo of Key through a press release on Monday, who is seen donning a funky hairstyle and wearing white face painting in the pic, in accordance with the band's fashion concept for the new record.

SM has been unveiling a series of teaser pics since last Thursday, one member a day, to promote the group's second studio album that will hit stores on July 19.

SHINee -- composed of members Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin -- made their debut in 2008 and gained popularity with K-pop hits such as "Older Girl, You're So Pretty" and "Juliette".

They enjoyed a successful comeback last year with their third mini-album "2009, Year Of Us" release in October. The title track "Ring Ding Dong" topped various music charts in Korea and other Asian countries.
