K-pop idol Ryeowook of iconic group Super Junior will step down as a regular member on KBS' weekend singing competition program.
A PR rep with SM Entertainment told the magazine in an interview Tuesday that Ryeowook staged his final performance for KBS' "Immortal Song 2" on July 16, while the episode "Lee Jang-hee Special" will air on August 25.
Since making his first appearance on the show in May, Ryeowook has won on two of the episodes.
Ryeowook, who debuted as a member of a boy band Super Junior in 2008, became well known with his group's hit songs “Sorry Sorry” and “BONAMANA.”
He proved his vocal skills by participating in a number of soundtracks of TV series and playing in the musical "Temptation of Wolves."
