Korean singer and actor Lee Seung-gi may step down from his gig as the emcee of SBS' variety show "Strong Heart."

An official with his agency Hook Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Tuesday that Lee is currently considering leaving the program although nothing has been confirmed.

"Right now, Lee is busy with various other projects such as playing the lead in MBC's upcoming series 'King2hearts' and his singing career in Japan," the official explained.

Lee was appointed the co-host of "Strong Heart" in 2009 with comedian Kang Ho-dong and hosted the show alone after Kang's departure last year.

Making his debut in 2004 with album "The Dream of a Moth," Lee expanded his career into the different branches of entertainment including television drama and weekly variety show.
