Cast of "Dream High 2" holds 1st script reading

The entire cast of the upcoming season of KBS' "Dream High" has held their first script reading, according to the major broadcaster on Wednesday.

Through a press release, KBS revealed pictures of actress Kang Sora, 2AM member Jeong Jinwoon, girl group SISTAR member Hyolyn, T-ara member Jiyeon, Park Jin-young and After School's Kahi at the first reading held in Seoul last weekend.

"I was a big fan of the first season and it is a great honor to be a part of the show now. I can't wait for the first episode to air next month," Kang said in the press release while Jeong expressed his excitement about the series as well.

The upcoming show, telling of students attending a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities, is set for a premiere on January 30 of next year.

The first "Dream High" series which showed early this year told about students who attend a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities and starred Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun and idol singers Bae Suzy from girl group miss A, Ham Eun-jung of T-ara, songstress IU, and Ok Taecyeon and Jang Wooyoung from boy band 2PM.
