SHINee Jonghyun to take part in "City Hunter" soundtrack
Korean idol Jonghyun of boy band SHINee has recorded a song for the soundtrack of an SBS drama, according to the music's producer Forest Media.
On Thursday, Forest Media announced in a press release that Jonghyun sang the ballad titled “So goodbye” which is one of the tracks to part 2 of SBS’ “City Hunter” soundtrack set to go on sale tomorrow midnight.
The soundtrack will also contain the theme song “It’s alright” by Yangwhajin Band.
"So goodbye," written by famed music producer Oh Joon-sung who has composed songs for the soundtracks of "Boys Over Flowers," "My Girl" and "Princess Prosecutor," expresses the pain and hurt that is felt by Lee Yoon-sung, played by actor Lee Min-ho.
"City Hunter," based on the famed comic by Japanese manga artists Tsukasa Hojo, is about how Lee tries to get revenge on his father's death by following through a plan which begins with him working at the Blue House after receiving his doctorate from MIT.
He meets Kim Nana, played by actress Park Min-young, who is a judo athlete-turned-bodyguard at the presidential office protecting Choi Da-hye, taken on by Gu Hara, who is the youngest daughter of Korea's President.
