SISTAR19 releases teaser clip to new song

Girl group SISTAR sub unit SISTAR19 released a teaser clip to their upcoming song online on Friday.

The 40-second clip to “MA BOY,” set for release next Tuesday, showed the unit's members Hyolyn, the vocalist and Bora, the rapper, striking various poses while donned in mini-skirts against the backdrop of a washroom, sofa and a large garage.

The formation of duo unit SISTAR19 was announced just yesterday, along with teaser images of the girls posing on a sofa.

Their agency Starship Entertainment said that the number 19 is intended at expressing the sense of innocence and insecurity felt by females at that age as they border between the sentiments of a girl versus a woman.

SISTAR, composed of other members Soyou and Dasom, released their debut single "Push Push" in June last year. Two months later the girls returned to the local music scene with their second single "Shady Girl" which ranked in the top 3 of several online and offline music charts.

The quartet's third single “How Dare You” which went on sale last December, too was received well, ranked on top slots of several online music charts.
