Bae Yong-joon's photo book enters tenth print

Korean Wave star Bae Yong-joon's photo essay “Discovering the Beauty of Korea” is into its tenth print, according to his agency on Thursday.

The fourth print of the book which sold out during the advance sale period, has now entered its tenth print since its launch one week ago, BOF Korea said in a press release.

The book is currently ranked at No. 1 at Kyobo Books in the travel-essay section and No. 2 at online shopping mall Interpark under the essay category.

Even the Japanese edition of the book went into re-print and people are reportedly asking if the book is available in English as well.

The content of book includes 11 cultural artisans that Bae met during his travels along with introductions to Korean traditional food and cultural content, such as the kimchi, hanbok, King Sejong the Great and the National Museum of Korea. The book also introduces culturally-rich travel locations that might help foreign travellers to see the true beauty of the country,

Bae held a promotion event for "Discovering" at Tokyo Dome on Thursday with some 50,000 fans in attendance. He was also at the venue the day before to celebrate the premiere of "Winter Sonata~ Another Story~", an animation version of the 2002 TV series that turned him into a major Hallyu star.
