Korea's top talent agency SM Entertainment is opening the world's first interactive entertainment exhibition this summer.

"S.M.ART EXHIBITION," SM's collaboration with IT companies to feature the agency's entertainment contents through high-end technology, is set to kick off for ten days at COEX in Seoul, Korea on August 10, the agency revealed in a press release Monday.

The global roll-out of smart gadgets has even influenced Korea's top agency to go more digital and it seems that this will speed the process of K-pop artists and their contents meeting international fans.

Jam-packed with some up-to-date technologies, the forthcoming event will provide visitors with a 3D cinema, life-size holograms that display the artists' performances and a center where people can experience the camera used in film "Matrix" for matrix-style surfing shots.

Aiming to become a cultural platform, the exhibition will be held in other countries afterwards, under the title "S.M.ART EXHIBITION WORLD TOUR," though the schedule has yet to be announced.

Spanning a wide range of areas in the entertainment business, the agency recently announced that their TV series based on popular Japanese comic “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi)" will air on Korea's SBS this August.
