Big Bang Seungri, FTIsland joins lineup for music fest in Japan
Korean idol Seungri of boy group Big Bang and rock band FTIsland have joined the lineup for the Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 in Japan.
The official website of the music festival showed on Thursday that Seungri and FTIsland will grace the stage at the Saitama Arena in Tokyo on November 9.
The first lineup of performers for the Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 included KARA, 2NE1, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, ZE:A, INFINITE, Teen Top, Dal★Shabet and A-PINK.
The Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 will be hosted by Korea's SBS Contents Hub and Japan's TBS.
Born Lee Seung-hyun, Seungri made his debut in 2006 as the youngest member of the popular Korean boy band Big Bang. He tried his hand at going solo in 2008 with song "Strong Baby," from the group's second full-length album "Remember."
He released his first solo album in January this year and topped a number of music charts with title tracks "WHAT CAN I DO" and "V.V.I.P."
Composed of members Lee Hong-ki, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-han, Lee Jea-jin and Choi Jong-hoon, FTIsland released their first album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007.
