SuperstarK 3 contestant ULALA SESSION tops Gaon singles chart

Korean reality TV show SuperstarK 3 contestant ULALA SESSION came atop Gaon singles chart with their cover of Journey's song during the fourth week of October.

According to data released by Gaon chart on Thursday, four-member group ULALA SESSION's cover of American rock band Journey's "Open Arms" was the most-popular song in the country during the week of October 9 to 15.

Coming in second place on the chart was rocker Kim Kyung-ho and singer Kim Yeon-woo's rendition of Pinocchio's hit song "Between Love & Friendship" followed by SuperstarK 3 contestant Two Month's cover of famed songstress Lady GaGa's dance tune "Poker Face."

Meanwhile, singer Kim Hyun-joong's second mini-album "Lucky," released on October 11, made its debut at No. 1 on Gaon's album chart.

FTIsland's remake album "MEMORY IN FTISLAND" entered the chart in second place while six-member boy band Boyfriend's second single "Don't Touch My Girl" bowed into the No. 3 spot during the fourth week of October.
