SHINee celebrates 3 year anniversary since debut

Korean boy band SHINee has celebrated their third year in the music industry with a special video thanking their fans.

The video of the group was uploaded onto their agency SM Entertainment's official YouTube channel yesterday which features the boys expressing their gratitude to their fans with a message saying, "Hello~ This is SHINee! It's been 3 years since we made our debut! It's been a great time because of all the love you gave us! Thank you."

SHINee went onto say that they will be performing at the "2011 Dream Concert" this weekend with other K-pop artists and promised their fans that they will always work hard in Korea and soon in Japan.

Composed of members Key, Minho, Jonghyun, Onew and Taemin, SHINee is one of Korea's most popular male groups who made their debut in 2008 under major talenthouse SM Entertainment. They have produced a number of hit songs including "Reply," "Ring Ding Dong" and "LUCIFER."

The boys are currently gearing up to make their official debut into the music industry in Japan with the Japanese version of their song "Replay" set to go on sale in the country on June 22.

"Replay" has fared well in the country so far, placing at the No. 1 spot on major record retailer Tower Records and HMV's pre-order charts and land atop the Recochoku daily mobile music chart on the day of its release in ringtone format on April 28.

The boys, who have signed with EMI Music Japan (a subsidiary of British music company EMI Group Ltd), will perform at Abbey Road Studios in London, England on June 19 ahead of their debut in Japan, making them the first Asian singers to do so.

They will also kick off their nationwide fan meeting tour in Japan titled "SHINee JAPAN DEBUT PREMIUM RECEPTION" in July with shows in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo.
