Actress Kim Suna signs with new agency
Actress Kim Suna has signed a contract with agency King Kong Entertainment.
King Kong stated through a press release today that Kim, best known for her 2005 drama “My Name Is Sam-soon,” signed with them this month.
“Kim Suna decided to join us based on a friendship and trust built between us for over a decade. We are delighted to have Kim, who has star power both on the big and small screen, join our family,” King Kong’s head official was quoted as saying in the statement.
“After working alone, I decided to place my faith on the capability, good sense and energy of King Kong Entertainment,” Kim said in the statement.
Other celebrities that belong to the same agency include Kim Bum from the hit drama “Boys Over Flowers” (SBS, 2009) and Park Min-young from “SungKyunKwan Scandal” (KBS, 2010).
Kim, 35, has starred in other romantic series including “When It’s At Night” (MBC, 2008) and “City Hall” (SBS, 2009).
She also took the leading roles in films “Girl Scouts” (2008), “She’s On Duty” (2005), “S Diary” (2004), “Reversal of Fortune” (2003), “Happy Ero Christmas” (2003) and “Yesterday” (2002).
Meanwhile, Kim has completed shooting film “Fighting Spirit” helmed by director Kim Sang-jin and co-starring Kim Ju-hyeok which tells about an arrogant baseball player who starts to reflect on his life and his family. The pic is set to premiere around fall of this year.
