After School to unveil new song on Thursday
Female group After School will unveil a new song from their upcoming album this week, informed their agency Pledis on Monday.
According to a press release by Pledis, After School will release “Shampoo,” the title track to their upcoming first regular album “VIRGIN” on Thursday and give their comeback performance on public broadcaster KBS’ “Music Bank” the following day.
“Shampoo" is a collaboration between poet Won Tae-yeon who wrote the lyrics for popular song "That Man," the soundtrack to smash hit drama "Secret Garden," and Daishi Dance, a famed DJ and music producer in Japan who composed boy band Big Bang's song "Haru Haru" and most recently, girl band Rainbow’s dance number “TO ME.”
Meanwhile, the agency also revealed additional images of the upcoming album today that showed the girls lined up while in different postures.
Donned in short black dresses and red boots, the theme for the song is also in stark contrast with the earlier images themed on school girl look.
