Famed U.S. producer Teddy Riley will fly into Korea today to support new girl group RaNia, according to the girls' agency DR Music on Thursday.

DR announced in a press release that Teddy Riley and his music team PMG will stay in Korea for a couple weeks starting today to support and promote RaNia as well as finish completing their first full-length album.

Since early April, the girls have been promoting their debut song "Dr. Feel Good" from their mini-album "Teddy Riley, The First Expansion In Asia" which Riley himself produced.

During his stay, Riley is also scheduled to hold a press conference on April 26 to speak about the views and phenomenon of Korean music.

"I am looking forward to my time in Korea to support my group, as well as embrace and help the future of great music in Korea! We are prepared for a new experience in business, technology and hit music," Teddy Riley was quoted as saying in the press release.

RaNia is composed of members SAEM, Riko, JOOYI, DI, JOY, XIA, T-AE and YIJO, while SAEM, Riko and T-AE shot dance film "Hype Nation" starring former 2PM member Jay Park last year.

Born Edward Theodore Riley, Teddy Riley has been a major influence on contemporary R&B, hip-hop and soul music since the early 1980s. He has been a part of groups Guy and Blackstreet in the early 1990s and has since worked with a number of world-renowned artists such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Ja Rule and Dr. Dre.
