Female idol group Wonder Girls and their producer-singer Park Jin-young will take part an upcoming charity event hosted by top Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan.

A press release by JYP Entertainment (JYPE) announced today that Wonder Girls and Park will represent Korea at the "Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders," a charity concert aimed at raising relief money for Japan which was struck by a massive earthquake and tsunami on March 11.

Some 30 top singers and actors from various countries in Asia, including Andy Lau, Karen Mok, Donni Yen, will also participate in the event set to take place at Victoria Park in Hong Kong tomorrow.

"Park had worked with Jackie Chan before, for his 'I Love Asia' project, so Park and the girls came to join in another of his events in order to console the victims of the earthquake," an official at JYPE was quoted as saying in the statement.

Park, currently also the founder and head of JYPE, had served as the executive music producer for 'I Love Asia,' an album project put together by Jackie Chan which was aimed at raising money for the victims of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake.
