TV series "Dream High" may return for new season
A new season of musical TV series "Dream High" may hit airwaves next year, the show's broadcasting company KBS said on Thursday.
An official from KBS told 10Asia over the phone that they are currently discussing on the new season for the show with its producers and aim to air it in the latter half of next year.
"We are looking into a new season of 'Dream High' in a positive light. We can't confirm the news since everything is in its planning stages," an official from Holym said.
"Dream High," which for two months this year starting early January, was about the dreams of students who attend a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities.
The show starred Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, idol singers Bae Suzy from girl group miss A, Ham Eun-jung from T-ara, Ok Taecyeon and Jang Wooyoung from boy band 2PM and songstress IU.

The series was a joint production between top entertainment firms KEYEAST and JYP Entertainment. It brought in viewership ratings in the 18 to 20 percent range and has been sold to several countries in Asia including Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Cambodia.
