American songstress Sara Bareilles [9 Entertainment]

American singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles will hold her first-ever concert in Korea in May, according to the concert's promoter 9 Entertainment on Tuesday.


9 Entertainment announced in a press release that Sara Bareilles will take to the stage at the V-Hall in Seoul for her concert titled "Sara Bareilles Live in Seoul" on May 14.

Sara Bareilles achieved mainstream success in 2007 with her hit single "Love Song," which went platinum three times and scored her the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Pop 100 chart. She has sold over one million copies of her records worldwide, her debut album “Little Voice” became certified Platinum and she has been nominated for a Grammy award three times.


She was the opening act for pop sensations Aqualung and Mika in 2007 and a year later she toured with Maroon 5 and Paolo Nutini for their U.S. tours.

The songstress released her second album "Kaleidoscope Hear" in September 2010 which debuted at No. 1 in the United States. The record produced a number of hit songs including "King Of Anything," "Uncharted" and "Bluebird."

Tickets for Sara Bareilles' concert will be available on online reservation site Interpark starting March 14.
