Hallyu star So Ji-sub in Japan [51K]

Hallyu star So Ji-sub held his fan meeting in Japan over the weekend to celebrate the launch of his official fan club in the country, according to his agency 51K on Monday.


51K announced in a press release on Monday that So was at Japan's Tokyo International Forum on February 27 to take part in a series of fan meetings attended by several thousands of fans for the launch of his fan club.

The actor held various events such as taking the stage to sing his hip-hop single "Pick-up Line" as well as introducing his photo essay titled "The Journey of So Ji-sub" to his Japanese fans. Then the following day, he held an autograph session to commemorate the release of the pictorial.


Known as one of the most popular actors in Korea, So made his debut in 1996 and has since appeared in a number of TV dramas and movies. He became a household name in Korea and Asia with his roles in the 2004 hit series "Something Happened in Bali" and "I'm Sorry, I Love You."

He is slated to play the male lead in the upcoming romantic drama tentatively titled "Only You" alongside actress Han Hyo-joo.
