2PM unveils teaser for new song

Song to be available online starting Tuesday

Boy band 2PM on Monday unveiled a segment of a song from their new album set for release in mid-November.

The name of the song, tentatively titled "Tired of Waiting" in English, and a 30-second snippet of the song was revealed on the group's official website (2pm.jype.com) at 1:59 p.m.

A timer had been on countdown since Saturday morning till the hour, indicating the time left till the group released information about their new album.

A PR manager at the group's management agency JYP Entertainment said however, the song is not the title song to the group's album. "It is one of the several tracks on the album and will be available on various online music websites starting tomorrow," the official told 10Asia over the phone.

She added that several more songs may be unveiled in a similar formats till the day of the actual release of the album.

The formerly seven-member group will be resuming their activities officially for the first time without leader Park Jae-beom who quit the group in early September over controversial comments he made about Korea on his MySpace account before his debut.

2PM, one of the most popular idol groups in Korea, have released three single albums since their debut in 2008.
