Police today will announce the results of its examination into closed circuit television footage they obtained of a fight boy band Super Junior member Kang-in was involved in last week.
Seoul Gangnam Police Station, in charge of the investigation, had finished looking into CCTV video containing the idol group singer on Friday but did not announce its findings.
"We will sort out the details and make an announcement on Monday," senior police official Gwak Jeong-ki had told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Saturday.
The video will provide key evidence as to whether Kang-in, booked for assault along with three others on Wednesday, inflicted violence on one of the customers identified only by his last name Kim.
