K-pop icon 2NE1 has finally announced their comeback date after a year-long hiatus.
YG Entertainment said in a press release this morning that the four-member girl group will release their album on July 5.
So far, YG unveiled teaser images of 2NE1's Park Bom, raising curiosity and anticipation on their comeback.
The girls' comeback to the local music scene has been highly awaited by their fans around the world since it has been awhile since the girls dropped their last album, second mini-album, in July last year.
Meanwhile, the girls are preparing for their world tour "NEW EVOLUTION" starting with their first performance taking place at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on July 28 and 29.
2NE1 will be working with some of the top musicians and performance directors that have worked with A-list artists such as Janet Jackson, Lady Gaga and Usher, to name a few.
YG added that King of Pop Michael Jackson’s “This is It” tour choreographer Travis Payne and Beyonce tour band’s leader Divinity Roxx will join the girls to bring 2NE1 fans to their feet.
Following their show in Seoul, 2NE1 will then jet-set to ten cities in seven countries, including the United States and Europe.
