Choi Ji-woo to make small screen comeback next month
Actress Choi Ji-woo will make her return to the small screen for the first time in two years through a TV series set to go on air late next month.
A press release by major broadcaster MBC on Wednesday said that Choi, 36, will play a lawyer in the drama tentatively titled "Can't Lose" set for a premiere in late August following current Wednesday and Thursday series "Heartstrings."
The upcoming show will touch lightly on the incidents which occur in the process of a married lawyer couple getting a divorce and the producer in the final stages of casting the rest of its actors including a male Hallyu star to play Choi's lawyer husband.
Choi made her acting debut in 1993 and has since appeared in various dramas such as "First Love (KBS, 1996)" and rose to stardom after starring in the hit TV series "Winter Sonata" with Bae Yong-joon in 2002.
