Korean singer Jang Woo-hyuk will make his comeback to the local music scene with the release of his third mini-album tomorrow midnight, according to a press release from his agency WH Entertainment.

The announcement for Jang's new album titled "I am the Future," set to hit online music providers and record stores, came today.

He will then begin promoting title track "The Day Time Stood Still (translated title)," starting with his comeback performance this Thursday on music cable channel Mnet’s televised music show “M! CountDown" followed by appearances on weekend music programs.

"Jang's comeback performance will show something different that fans have not seen on stage from other artists," an official from WH was quoted as saying.

Last week, Jang unveiled a teaser video of himself performing the 'finger dance' while dressed in accordance to his album's new concept which raised anticipation and curiosity amongst fans on his return.

Jang began his career in 1996 as a rapper in the now-disbanded idol group H.O.T which was one of the hottest bands during the 1990s.

The singer started his solo career in 2005 and expanded his activities into China last year after completing his two-year mandatory military service and signing with Chinese entertainment firm Huayi Brothers Media Group.
