Over 4,000 fans showed up at Super Junior-M’s autograph session held in Taiwan last weekend, revealed their agency SM Entertainment on Tuesday.

According to a press release by SM, over 4,000 local fan turned up at the fan meeting held last Saturday at Uni-President Hankyu Department Store in Taipei.

The event, composed of an autograph session and a mini-concert, was originally set for limited number of fans who were picked among purchasers of Super Junior-M’s second mini album “Perfection (太完美),” released in Taiwan last February.

Nonetheless the idols, armed with fluent Chinese, proceeded with the event, sending words of greetings to their fans gathered, signing autographs and performing to several hit songs from both their past and present albums including “Destiny” and “Blue Tomorrow.”

Both the original and repackaged version of "Perfection" have been a huge hit in the country, the original version claiming the No. 1 spot on Taiwan’s top radio music chart “HIT FM HITO” while the latter version, released in late April, was placed atop the music charts of FIVE MUSIC as well as the major record chains of Kuang Nan and CCR.

Super Junior-M, composed of members Siwon, Donghae, Henry, Zhou Mi, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk and Sungmin was first formed in April 2008 as the third sub-unit of Super Junior that includes other sub-groups Super Junior-T, Super Junior-K.R.Y. and Super Junior-Happy.

They received the award for Best Group in 2008 and won the award for most popular group at the Golden Chinese Chart Awards held in early April of this year.
