Wonder Girls to perform at a concert in China

Korean pop sensation Wonder Girls will be performing at a concert in China this week.

"The girls will take to the stage with some of the biggest names in the Hong Kong music market at the 'China Mobile Concert' to be held in Beijing of China on March 26," a PR official from JYP Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone. "They will arrive in the country either the day before or of the show."

The official went to explain that the girls will then return to the United States to resume working on their upcoming album.

Trained and discovered by top Korean talenthouse JYP Entertainment, Wonder Girls made their debut in 2007. They have produced a score of hit songs including "Tell Me," "So Hot" and "Nobody."

The girls crossed over into the pop market in the United States in 2009, taking the stage as the opening act for the famous Jonas brothers and releasing their debut single "Nobody," as well as holding a 27-stop tour in North America last summer.

They recently placed at the No. 4 spot on a music chart in Canada with their song "Nobody."
