Korean TV series "Naughty Kiss" will soon go on air in several countries in Asia, notified the drama's production company Group Eight on Friday.
A press release by Group Eight informed that the teenage romance series, which aired in Korea in September of last year, is scheduled to begin its run in Singapore and Malaysia on March 5 and on Japan's Fuji TV on March 17 as well as ten other countries.
The company also explained that in Japan, preorders for the first edition of the "Naughty Kiss" DVD, set to be released on March 2, has exceeded its supply.
“Just like a musical that evolves the longer it is performed, the drama will go through the similar process in which it will better meet the expectations of the audience overseas with editing, music, and color contents," Song Byung-joon, the CEO of Group Eight was quoted as saying.
The show was also sold to several dozen countries in Asia in November last year including Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia and Brunei, while the YouTube version of the series, which showed the married life of Baek Sung-jo (played by Kim Hyun-joong) and Oh Hani (played by Jung So-min), has received over 15 million hits worldwide.
