American R&B soul singer Eric Benet is set to hold concert in Korea in April, announced the concert’s organizer Private Curve on Thursday.

According to a press release by Private Curve, Benet, one of the most famous soul singers in the United States, will hold a concert in Korea to celebrate the release of his fifth album “LOST IN TIME,” (2010) at AX Hall in Seoul on April 12.

This will make it his third time performing in the country -- he held his first concert in 2009 and was one of the acts for the Seoul Jazz Festival 2010.

Benet debuted with album “TRUE TO MYSELF” in 1996 and became famous three years later with his second album “A DAY IN THE LIFE” that included title track “Spend My Life With You” featuring renowned R&B and soul singer Tamia.

The song claimed the No.1 on the U.S. Billboard chart for three weeks and had Benet nominated for Grammy Awards the following year.

His third album “Hurricane” (2005) too boasts numerous hits including “Hurricane,” “Last Time,” and “Cracks Of My Broken Heart” while his fourth album “LOVE & LIFE” (2008) debuted No.11 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart.

His first single “You’re The Only One” too was received well, staying atop Urban AC's radio chart for four straight weeks and wining him nominations for the Grammy Awards once again.
