After School records song with J-pop singer Amuro Namie
Seven-member girl group After School has collaborated with Japanese diva Amuro Namie on a song for her upcoming album, according to After School's agency Pledis Co. on Thursday.
Pledis announced through a press release today that After School recently finished recording a song titled “Make It Happen” with the Japanese songstress as well as shooting the music video for it in Japan.
“Make It Happen,” whose lyrics are about seducing one into the dream world, will be the title track to Namie’s upcoming best album set for release on March 23.
The album will contain Namie’s previous songs that she performed in collaboration with other artists including CHEMISTRY, AI, Tsuchiya Anna and Yamashita Tomohisa.
After School is the only K-pop artist to make it into the lineup and the collaboration was first suggested from Namie’s side, Pledis said.
