Rain takes pictures with dance team

Korean pop star Rain caused a stir on the Internet on Wednesday regarding his recent weight loss and new look, after a photograph of himself with his dancers was revealed.

In the picture posted on Rain's official Twitter website on Tuesday, Rain is seen with shorter hair and dark shades while sitting with several members of his dance team and a comment below saying, "Do I have to continue on trusting these people?” and "The members of my dance team are called 'General Hospital'... They have been complaining about some back pain lately."

Fans who have seen the two photographs responded, "Rain! You look really good with your short haircut!" "You guys look really cool with your black shades!" and "You look much skinnier than before! Hope everything is alright."

Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has been considered one of biggest stars in Korea and throughout Asia since the start to his solo singing career in 2002. He has also expanded his career into acting, playing several small screen roles such as "Sang Doo! Let's Go to School" and "Full House."

Rain then made his Hollywood debut in 2008, through the Wachowski Brothers' action pic "Speed Racer" and landed the lead role in martial arts film "Ninja Assassin" a year later.

He plans to return to the local music scene sometime this year with a new album.
