Fran Healy, the lead vocalist of four-member British band Travis, will come to Korea for a concert in March, according to the concert’s organizer 9 Entertainment on Thursday.

A press release by 9 Entertainment disclosed that Frank Healy will perform by himself at Seoul's Hongdae V-Hall on March 18.

This will be Healy's first time going solo for his fans in Korea but not his first time playing in the country. He and his group Travis took part in the annual Pentaport Rock Festival in Incheon City in 2008 and they held a concert the following year in Seoul.

Travis is one of the most popular modern rock bands in Britain that debuted with album “Good Feeling” in 1997 and became recognized globally for their second studio album “The Man Who” in 1999, which won the band the awards for best album and best band at the Brit Awards the following year.

Healy, a 37-year-old Scottish musician, is a renowned singer-songwriter who began playing the guitar at age 13 and recently established his own record label WreckordLabel to release his first individual album “Wreckorder” last October, featuring musicians Paul McCartney, Neko Case and Tom Hobden from “Noah and The Whale.”
