Guitarist Slash from Guns N' Roses to perform in Korea
World famous guitarist Slash will hold his first Korea concert in March, announced the event’s promoter Access Entertainment on Friday.
According to press release from Access, Slash, better known as the former lead guitarist of hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, will perform at the AX-Hall in Seoul on March 20 and 21.
Slash will be accompanied by Alter Bridge vocalist Miles Kennedy who will do the featurings and perform to several of his hit compositions.
Slash first visited Korea as the lead guitarist for Michael Jackson's band back in 1999 but not ever since.
The 45-year-old guitarist, whose real name is Saul Hudson, is a British-American musician in his 28th year of pursuing a career in music.
He alone has received much critical acclaim, ranking at No.2 among the “10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time” by Times Magazine and being inducted into Hollywood’s RockWalk at the Guitar Center in 2007.
Also in 2008, his solo guitar pieces “November Rain” and “Sweet Child O” ranked No.6 and No.37, respectively, on the “100 Greatest Guitar Solos” list by the magazine “Guitar World.”
