BoA to release new Japanese single next month

Korean songstress BoA will release a new Japanese single next month.

According to BoA's official Japanese Avex webpage (http://www.avexnet.or.jp/boa/index.html) on Thursday, the singer will release her new single titled "I SEE ME" on December 8.

The website also featured a snippet of the upcoming song which will be used for a commercial for Japanese audio equipment manufacturing company Audio-Technica, which BoA is the spokemodel for.

Known as the first Korean artist to make a major breakthrough in the Japanese music industry, the 23-year-old singer has placed numerous singles atop the prestigious Oricon charts while having released several albums in the country.

BoA also made her debut into the U.S. music scene early last year and most recently promoted her repackaged sixth album "Copy&Paste."

She will hold her annual Christmas show in Japan titled "BoA - The Live XMAS" on December 20 and 21 at the Tokyo International Forum.
