Pop star Rihanna arrived in Korea on Wednesday to promote her fourth full-length album "Rated R," according to Universal Music Korea.


The singer, who will stay in Korea for three days, thanked fans who greeted her upon her arrival at Kimpo Airport in the afternoon.

Rihanna is set to attend a press conference tomorrow at the COEX Mall followed by a red carpet event and autograph session for a select number of fans.


The Barbados-born 21-year-old singer, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, made her debut in 2005 with her first record "Music of the Sun" which saw five singles reach No. 1 on the Billboard singles chart.

Her third full-length album "Good Girl Gone Bad" produced several hits including "Umbrella" which remained atop the Billboard singles chart for seven consecutive weeks and the U.K. singles chart for 10 weeks in a row.


The R&B songstress' latest album features her title tracks "Russian Roulette," "Wait Your Turn" and "Rude Boy."
