Girls' Generation Yuri, Big Bang Seung-ri enter same school

Girls' Generation member Yuri and Big Bang member Seung-ri may be going to school together starting next year, according to Joongang University on Thursday.
The college made the announcement through a press release, saying that both idol group singers were accepted as freshmen at the department of movie and theater for the spring semester of 2010.

Yuri, member of the hit nine-person girl group, had given up preparing for Korea's regular college entrance exam two years ago to pursue her singing career. Her band has been one of South Korea's most popular pop groups since their debut in 2007 and had back-to-back hits this year with singles "Gee" and "Tell Me Your Wish".
Seung-ri quit high school but passed the qualification examination for college entrance in May this year and had been preparing for entry ever since. His band has also been one of Korea's hottest groups since debuting in 2006.
