Veteran singer Insooni will hold a concert at the Carnegie Hall in New York next year, making her the first Korean to perform twice at the esteemed venue, according to her agency on Wednesday.
"She will perform for not one, but two nights at the hall starting February 5 next year," said GnG Productions, explaining that the hall had originally allowed the singer to perform only once since she was a pop singer but extended it by a day after seeing her music, the preparations and size of her concert.
"I am glad to get to stand on the stage of my dreams once again. I will do my best to develop our pop culture as an messenger of Korean culture," Insooni was quoted as saying.
The 52-year-old singer has had a strong 31-year career since her debut in 1978, most recently releasing her 17th album in May this year.
