Song Seung-heon Confirms Role in New Historical Film

Korean actor Song Seung-heon has been cast as one of the male leads in director Kwon Jong-kwan’s new movie.
Song's agency Storm S Company said in a press release Friday that the “Dr. Jin” actor has decided to join “The Messenger” [translated title], which will likely go into shooting in December.
"I was fascinated by the movie's fresh material and chose the project without any hesitation as soon as I finished reading the scenario," Song said, revealing his excitement about taking the role.
Officials from the firm noted that Song has been devoting himself to fencing and horse-riding to deliver a fine performance in his forthcoming action scenes.
Set in the Joseon Dynasty, "The Messenger" tells the story of loyal messenger Moo Jin [played by Song] who delivers important news against his obstructers.

In the meantime, Song’s agency announced through its official Twitter account Thursday that the heartthrob will have his autograph session at Kolping’ Busan Bomil Store in South Korea, on October 26.
