SM Entertainment documentary to make local premiere in two weeks
The local premiere date of a documentary featuring the top artists of SM Entertainment has been set, according to the film's distributor CJ E&M on Friday.
SM's documentary "I AM" is set to make its way to theaters on June 21, which is about a month and a half late from the original opening date of May 10.
CJ added that the movie -- starring Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee and f(x) --has been postponed due to audio issues but its premiere screenings were held as planned in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia last month.
The film, however, received some criticisms in Japan upon its premiere on June 2, despite selling out tickets for a number of screenings there.
