Korean songstress Son Dambi and girl group After School will release a joint album next month, according their agency Pledis Entertainment.

On Tuesday, an official with Pledis told 10Asia that their artists including upcoming boy band Pledis Boys have come together to release an album under the theme "HAPPY PLEDIS" in early December.

"It will be the second series to the ‘HAPPY PLEDIS’ theme following After School's 'Love Love Love' which was released last December,” the official explained.

“HAPPY PLEDIS” started last year in which the artists of Pledis produce an album to repay their fans for their support while the proceeds are donated to the Save the Children Foundation.

The official then explained that they are in discussions on whether the artists will promote the album because of their busy schedules.

Son made her debut as a singer in 2007 and expanded her career into acting with a role in SBS TV series "Dream" with Kim Beom in 2009. She is busy shooting upcoming MBC drama "Light and Shadow" (translated title) opposite Ahn Jae-wook.

After School, who are pursuing their singing career in Japan with major Japanese record company AVEX, has been one of the most well-recognized girl groups in Korea since their debut in 2009.
