Director's cut of "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon" to hit theaters today
An extended version of Korean action film "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon" will open in select local theaters, according to the movie's promoter Delight on Thursday.
Delight announced in a press release that the director's cut of "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon," with six minutes of new action footage, will open in 40 theaters nationwide today.
"We are still in discussions regarding for how long the extended version of 'Arrow' will be shown in theaters," a PR official with Delight told 10Asia over the phone.
"Its run will depend on the number of admissions it sees and if it does well, the film may open in more locations."
"Arrow," starring Park Hae-il and Moon Chae-won, tells the story of how Na-mi (Park) leaves his village to find his younger sister Ja-in (Moon) who is missing after the Joseon Dynasty is attacked by the Chung Dynasty of China.
