Jang Keun-suk smart phone app released today

A smart phone application featuring Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk has been released, according to his agency Tree J. Company on Wednesday.

Tree J. announced through a press release that they launched the official application of the actor today in collaboration with top Korean portal website Naver.

The application -- produced in two versions -- will be available in four languages including Korean, Japanese, English and Chinese.

The free version "Jang Keunsuk Lite" features various photographs and videos of Jang, his profile and news regarding the star while the paid version "Jang Keunsuk" includes the aforementioned content as well as his upcoming schedule and an outlet to leave messages for Jang.

Jang has been popular in Japan since starring in 2009 drama "He's Beautiful" which has been remade in the country and has led a successful singing career there as well.

He is currently preparing for his upcoming tour in Japan titled "2011 JANG KEUN SUK ARENA TOUR THE CRI SHOW IN JAPAN 'ALWAYS CLOSE TO YOU'" where he will hold five shows in three cities.
